Blue Day

One of my first finished acrylic paintings - though it's really more of a drawing. I wanted something flat, graphic, and simple - but in retrospect, I think a pointillism gradient would give it more depth and make it more interesting to look at. This is a picture of two friends enjoying a summer day. When I look at it now, a couple of years later, it makes me think of opening up to someone dismissive.
